Best student paper Award

The ITST 2005 Organizing Committee is giving an award for the Best Student Paper.

To be eligible, the paper has to be :

• written by a student
• posted up from Monday 27th to Wednesday 29th June inclusive (in the case of a poster)
• presented by at least the student during the allotted poster session (in the case of a poster) or presented by the student during the oral session (in the case of an oral presentation)

The prize will be awarded by a jury composed of members of the Organizing Committee and the Technical Program Committee, who will assess the posters or oral presentations according to the following criteria:

• Scientific interest: results, theoretical or practical interest, originality, etc...
• Quality of the written documents (poster or slideshow) and/or demonstrations
• Quality of the oral explanations

The award will be presented by Dr Shiomi, vice - president of NICT, Japan, during the banquet on Tuesday 28 th June 2005.
